This is the third book in the Sharqi Sheiks series focusing on Amare. Eight years have passed since Amare was a student. Now he is the head of his family's extensive oil business. This time things have hit a wall in the negotiations with his rival over land where a Sharqi Oil pump station operates. The new sticking point is getting possession of a portrait of a teenage girl painted by a famous & recently deceased painter( it's of his teenage daughter). The subject of the painting arrives & refuses point blank to sell it at any price (her stepmother/monster) wants it too! Amare tries his best, even seducing her, to get the painting to no avail. She goes back to the States & goes into hiding from her step monster & Amare as well. Needless to say there is a HEA in the works. I have one more book in the series to read & have enjoyed every one. My ONLY beef is with the bad grammar & typos! Does NOBODY proofread these things anymore?Product details

Sheikh Amare needs to acquire a painting in order to save his family's oil company. The painting is in his palace and he is going to convince the artist to sell it to him. However, he does not know the artist has died and the painting is now in the possession of his daughter Bree. And she has no intention of selling it no matter what he offers her. She is so adamant about it, Amare is determined to find out why. But the more he is around Bree he realizes he wants more than just the painting. When he finds out the reason she will not sell, he does everything he can to prove to her he is not only after the painting. He wants Bree as well. And he is a man that is used to getting what he wants.
This was another great book in the Sheikh series.

Sheik Amare Sharqi is a determined man who is fascinated by Brianna Van Ludhis (Bree) when he meets her for the first time. He is used to getting what he wants and does not here the word “no” from anyone, except Bree. What he wants is one of her Fathers paintings for an oil deal and she is refusing to sell it to him.
Bree is strong willed, witty and sure of herself. She is unwavering in her decision not to sell her Fathers painting to Sheik Amare Sharqi, or anyone else for that matter. All she wants to do is get the painting that is in Al-Sarid and go back to the states and start over. Well that was the plan anyway……
I enjoyed this book very much. You could feel the tension between the two and the chemistry was very believable. There is a HEA and also a hint of maybe a new series. I would definitely recommend this book and all the others in this series.

As usual, this is another example of great writing. I couldn't put it down once I started. Love it.
Another great read by Ms North. This series has been great and I am looking forward to the next book.
Done it again girl as only you can loved the book my favorite he fell hard for Bree and once she admitted it she did to few ups and down but all end well get the book and read it you will enjoy it as much as I did enjoyMargie Moran
I received this book a few days ago as a gift from the author in exchange for an honest review. However, I just purchased my own copy from , because I'm interested to see if any changes were made before it went on sale. Amare and Bree are both strong-willed and stubborn, and if they both weren't blessed with excellent manners, there would have been more yelling and crashing pottery during their 'discussions.' Each of the Sharqi Sheikhs books are good reads, but I've enjoyed them more as the stories overlap. Handsome Alpha males and beautiful, intelligent, stubborn women? Luscious foreign locations? What more could you ask for in an almost comic romance? Try it for yourself, and I'll bet you will enjoy it as much as I did.
